VTV S15 STUDIO’S LIGHTING SYSTEM – 2015 Studio 15 of VTV is one of the first audience studio of them where they’ve been recording many famous shows like “Duong Len Dinh Olympia”, “Chiec Non Ky Dieu” in many years. In 2015, VTV re-constructed the studio and called a tender to provide lighting system for the studio. TVS with local contractor won the tender. Studio S15 – VTV Vietnam The requirements for the system were the flexible rigging system, mixed tungsten and LED fixtures, dimmer system with ability power for both tungsten load as well as non-dim load, dynamic control system for all of lighting devices. The project has been fulfilled by Tu Le company together with TVS and strong support from Philips Entertainment. For the rigging, we chose the solution of combining cat walk with sliding lighting bar. The cat walk is used for lighting man doing focusing from the top. The sliding lighting bar system includes fixed long I-shaped rails which hang 3m lighting bars below. This design allows operator can slide any lighting bar along fixed bars from end-to-end of stage. Main fixtures are mounted under pantographs, these pantographs are mounted under wheel carriages which can move along.

VTV’s BIGGEST OBVAN PROJECT – JUNE 2015 Vietnam Television – VTV, is the national television broadcaster of Vietnam In 2014, VTV wanted to purchase one big OB Van with 11 camera systems. This was the biggest OB Van in Vietnam at that time, the Van will be used mainly for sports and big shows. The challenges were the complicated requirements of the Video, Audio, Tally and Control systems. This Van handles various signal formats: digital HD Video, digital SD Video, analog Video, digital Audio, analog Audio. VTV also wanted a comfortable operating environment in the Van, the equipment must be arranged in good layout in order to let operators can do their jobs easily. TVS won the tender to provide designing and coaching services as well as a big part of equipment of the Van. All systems were designed with full redundancy to ensure non-stop live production. TELOS-AXIA Livewire Project for Voice Of Vietnam – 2017 VOV is having about 30 studios, half of them are full digital system and other half are analog system. The latest system has been there almost a decade already. The Master Control System of VOV is digital system with many interface between digital/analog, the core router is controlled by automation software running on server. VOV has wanted to upgrade their production system and master control system to IP based technology to apply advantages of latest technologies to their daily operation nationwide. VOV has decided to use Livewire technology from Telos alliance with strong support from TVS who is the main SI for the project. They want to do upgrading phase by phase, for the first phase they have upgraded two analog studios to full AoIP studios and a part of MCR to VoIP system which running in parallel with existing Digital/Analog audio system. The challenges of project are integration between new AoIP system with existing baseband system and keeping the similar workflow for recording studio. With strong co-operation between TVS team with Telos team and VOV team, we have successfully deployed the system as VOV desired. The key benefits we together.

MCR Studio Project for VOV 89MHz Channel – 2017 The Voice Of Vietnam wanted to launch a new radio channel which is specified for health and safety foods. This is a total new channel which is technology independent with existing Radio system of VOV. The channel will be transmitted on 89MHz radio channel and being built from ground, that is an advantage for VOV to apply the latest technology for the system. The Health & Food safety system consists of two On-air/record studios and Master control room and IT based radio production/playout/management system. VOV has selected TVS to be main system integration for the project. We – TVS have applied the latest technologies for this system with careful design, high ability to customize, high durability, very high redundancy level of all parts of system, quick support onsite or via common communication means. After few months of system deploying, the channel has been on-air in March 2017. Lighting system for Multi-purpose Studio S1 and News Studio of Cantho VTV – 2016 Cantho VTV is a branch of Vietnam Television located in Can Tho city, south of Viet nam. CVTV wanted to upgrade their existing lighting system of multi-purpose studio S1 and lighting system of news studio S4. For multi-purpose studio S1, we had the challenge of utilize the existing tungsten fixtures. The end user wanted us to integrate LED fixtures with tungsten fixture for various kind of programs. For news studio S4, we got the same challenge to mix LED fixture with tungsten fixtures and fluorescent fixtures. The challenges were not only color temperature mixing but also lighting control mixing, power supply mixing. TVS had been selected as the main SI to deploy the required systems for CVTV. We had co-operated with our world leading lighting supplier – Philips Entertainment to supply major parts of the systems. Beside that, we also modified the existing rigging system to adapt effectively various kind of programs from modern music shows to traditional art shows.
